March – The Italian Cultural Heritage

Earthquake in Italy: A series of three lectures on the Italian Cultural Heritage destroyed by the recent shockwaves. Starting with the 1997 earthquake in Assisi, the lectures will focus on the importance of a nation’s cultural heritage and its link to the identity of the inhabitants of those areas. The cost of $50 for the two lectures will be entirely donated to one of the towns affected by the earthquake. (UNLV and CSN students discounted price $25)
