On February 26th, Il Salotto Italiano presented political scientist Alan Balboni, author of the book “Beyond the Mafia: Italian Americans and the Development of Las Vegas”. Balboni shared insights and inspirations behind this farsighted and thoroughly documented account of the history of one of Las Vegas’most progressive and productive ethnic minorities.
