Il Salotto di Casa Italiana di Vegas proudly announces guest speaker Barbara Bird, Lead Faculty for Italian at the College of Southern Nevada. Barbara’s love affair with Italian began at age 21 and has become a lifelong passion.
She will take you on a journey through her own language learning experience, highlighting key moments that lead to her language learning success. Barbara will provide some basic insights from research in Second Language Acquisition to show how learning a language as an adult is a mission: possible.
